Wimbledon Strawberries & Cream Gnocchi

Enjoy this sweet strawberry pasta dish whilst watching the UK's biggest tennis tournament final of the year!

Artichoke Pesto gnocchi

For our second recipe in our fruit and pasta series, we will be using strawberries to celebrate the Wimbledon finals this weekend! Strawberries and cream is a traditional snack that is enjoyed at the UK's biggest tennis tournament of the year. This iconic dish has actually been served at Wimbledon since the very first tournament in 1877!

You might think that a sweet pasta dish is an insult to all Italian traditions, but don't hate it till you try it for yourself! Plus, here at Sunny & Luna, we aren't scared of breaking the norm and getting creative in the kitchen!

Replacing olive oil with butter will give the gnocchi a more decadent taste, which is perfect for when you're turning your pasta into a dessert! This recipe is also super customizable, as you can add as many strawberries and as much cream as your heart desires. The addition of the gnocchi also makes this dish much more filling than the traditional snack, so if you ever felt like having dessert for dinner, this is the time to do it!
